Synopsis of The Singing Sleuth Gets Snowed Under

Food, Glorious Food

Alec DunBarton (The Singing Sleuth) and his lovely wife, Paige, are spending the last week of their vacation on a cruise to Alaska. The trip was arranged by two local chapters of the American Caterers Association to learn about Pacific Northwest cuisine. Paige's dad and aunt are with them and have been asked to babysit Paige's eight-month-old nephew while his parents, Derek and Gail Anderson, participate in the ACA's planned activities.

As the ship enters Stephen's Passage, the corpse of Robert Irwin is discovered in the ship's fitness center. A barbell has crushed his windpipe. What looks to be an accident soon turns out to be murder. The victim was not only a bodybuilder but also a loathed member of the ACA.

Among Alec's prime suspects are Bella Valentino, the sexy and seductive president of the Silicon Valley chapter; Carlos Ruiz, Irwin's volatile and reluctant assistant; Mei Chung, a private chef with a gambling habit; Nancy Lawton, the Anderson's "Deliteful" dessert baker; Jeffrey Webber, a tightly wound corporate caterer; and Brett Webber, Jeff's gregarious daughter and food truck operator.

Join Alec and his family as they visit Alaska, the last frontier, and sample delicacies for the state's land and seas.
